Speakers: Melanie Knakal and Sarah Ledbetter

Melanie Knakal will be the main speaker for the retreat. Melanie came to faith in Jesus as a young girl growing up in South Carolina. She has always loved teaching and working with kids, and worked as a music teacher for several years before transitioning to staying home. Melanie and her husband Mike now have five kids, and she works at her church teaching the ladies Bible study program and writing study guide curriculum.

All of our ladies will join for a time of worship together, and then the younger girls have the option of attending their own special sessions led by Sarah Ledbetter. Sarah is from Clemson, SC. She is a speech therapist and also serves alongside her husband in ministry at University Baptist Church. Sarah is gifted in teaching and mentoring young women. In her free time she loves Clemson football, hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Jon and their daughter, Gretchen.
